Backyard Harvest wouldn't exist if it weren't for the generosity of our community
-- those donating their excess fruits & veggies, those sharing their wealth, and those lending their labor --
together we can outgrow hunger in our communities
Food grows communities. When people are engaged in producing and sharing their own food, a community's sense of common purpose is strengthened. Gathering, gleaning, and growing are activities that can bring everyone together.
Small things matter. Many often overlook small, privately owned sources of fresh food -- and funding. Backyard Harvest's programs provide tens of thousands of pounds of high-quality, fresh food for neighbors to share. We couldn't do it without you.
