We are pleased to announce the hire of Misty Amarena as Backyard Harvest's new Executive Director!  Ms. Amarena most recently served as the Moscow Food Co-op’s outreach coordinator. “We are very excited to work with Misty,” said Iris Mayes, Backyard Harvest’s Board Chair. “She brings a collaborative spirit, great organizational skills, and the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences. She cares deeply about food security and nutrition in our region.”

The Executive Director is responsible for working with a small dedicated team of staff and mobilizing volunteers to ensure greater access to fresh, healthy produce across the Palouse and L/C Valley.
